What is Reiki and how it works?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that works with the energy fields of the body. This complementary therapy reduces stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation and bringing you on a meditative state and natural self-healing.

The word Reiki is composed by two Japanese words: Rei means “Intelligent force and totality” and Ki which is “life force energy and duality”.

Sometimes energy blocks occur in our body, this normally causes some kind of illness. This therapy helps with the flow of energy and the removal of blocks.

This removal of blocks of energy gives a deep sense of relaxation, it relieves pain, relieves stress and anxiety. It allows the energetic and gentle integration of the body’s natural healing process and promotes wellbeing. Reiki healing is also received to simply enjoy the experience. You don’t have to have any illness to receive Reiki. The effects of Reiki healing in our lives optimize our health.

Which are the five principles of Reiki?

Truthfully, only the eternal present moment exists, the past is just a dream and the future depends on your present. What we are now is the result of what we were, what we will be become in the future, will be the result of what we are now.

Reiki focuses on the day-to-day experience, the now and the present moment. The rules of Reiki are based on these Usui principles:

  • Just for today, do not worry.  
  • Just for today, do not anger. 
  • Just for today, be grateful.  
  • Just for today, work honestly.  
  • Just for today, be kind to others.

How to book your Reiki treatment?

I practice Usui Reiki. This technique comes from Japan and it is offered worldwide including in hospitals in the UK. If you want to schedule a session or want to ask me anything, please feel free to contact me at any moment.

  • I hold a space for you to be yourself
  • It is important that you are 18 years or above
  • There are age limits on readings depending where you live. I will check this for you

If you are not happy with the information that is shared with you, you will always have the opportunity to leave the session and you will receive a full refund.

The number of sessions required depends on each person’s needs. It may be a couple or it may be more than 10. It will depend. This will be clarified at the end of the first session
